Ratanlal Bhagatram Choudary known as R,B Choudary proved himself as one of the most renowned film makers and made his Super Good Films,the home name of many film lovers in South India.Though his production house started with the three Malayalam films Adipapam ,Layanam, and Kalpana House, it was his focus on Tamil films that made the Super Good films find a super hit place in the tinsel world.
Starting with the film Puthu Vasantham, Piriyadha Puthir,Putham Puthu Payanam, Cheran Pandiyan,Oor Mariyaadhai,Gokulam, Nattamai,Poove Unakkaaga,{which gave the star status to actor Vijay}Sengottai,Sundhara Purushan,Mr.Romeo,Love Today, Surya vamsam, Santhippomaa,Sollaamale, Tirunelveli ,Poomagal Oorvalam,Thullaadha Manamum Thullum, Raja, Nee Varuvaai Ena, Kannupada Poguthaiyyaa,Maayi,Vinnukkum Mannukkum,Simmarasi, Samuthram Unnaikodu Ennai Tharuven,Aanandam Shajahan Punnagai Desam Varushamellaam Vasantham Thithikkuthe Kacheri Aarambam Rowthram Thiruppaachi,Kalathil Sandhippom,and the latest Maareesan are some of the long list of Tamil films released by the Supergood films, besides the Malayalam films.Chodhyam,Keerthi Chakra and Villaali Veeran,and many Telugu and Kannada films and a couple of Hindi films too,
The two major directors of Super Good films were,Vikraman {with whose Puthu Vasantham,R.B Choudary started his Tamil film journey}, and K.S Ravikumar whose Naattamai like Vikraman's Suryavamsam,was a blockbuster.The other notable directors

Puthu Vasantham, Poove Unakkaaga,Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Nattaamai,Anandham, Thiruppachi and Love Today,are some of the super good films, to be cherished in audience memory as the best pieces from the Super Good films. The passing away of the father figure of one of the most prominent film houses, is a grievous loss not only to Tamil cinema but also to the entire film Industry in India.This blogger shares the grief of Jeeva and Jithan Ramesh, the two actor sons of this great film producer and that of his other two sons too.
