What is special about Vijay's latest film GOAT?
Really, there is something special about it.First of all ,Venkat Prabhu deserves a responsible and rejoicing pat for bringing effectively back to the big screen, the two unduly forgotten, soothing heroes,Mohan and Prashanth.Secondly, for mixing michief and humour with the sordid tale of events taking place, between a dalliant dad and his devilish son,and playing amusingly with the prominent names of Indian political history such as Gandhi,Nehru and Bhose.Thirdly, the sweetly action packed screen play with a blood chilling start and a buoyant end.
Fourthly, for the facial simulation of elder Vijay with the Captain Vijayakanth image at the beginning, and the back-in-time-frame depiction of the younger Vijay throughout the film. Finally, what a powerful action display of Vijay in dual roles, especially in the scene showing the repeatedly voluminous cry of father Vijay,on seeing the charred body of his child Jeevan, and the indisputably refreshing but rascal type of body language of young Vijay through out.
There is enough high voltage action, enough dance, enough violence, enough of nostalgic trips to earlier films, both in terms of musical and scenic tributes, enough void of humanism and empathy, along with the absence of solid romance. With a huge bogey of actors, that include Jeyaram, Ajmal,Prabhu Deva, the wafer thin Premji Amaran and the presently indispensable Yogi Bhabu, along with the doubly dynamic Vijay,Sneha and Prashant, Goat on Netflix definitely makes its intended effect with quite a lot of surprise and suspense for the audience.Though not the Greatest Of All Time{s},it is the Gateway Of Ardent Technology.
